Community of Us is a non-partisan organization whose primary goal is to educate residents and community organizers throughout Los Angeles about their State, County and City Governments.
With the advent of the internet and Web 2.0, the ability to reach vast amounts of people has grown exponentially. Every organization, 
including our local and state government competes for your “read time”, your volunteer time and your fundraising dollars. In addition, with this new online activism an explosion of information has been generated in almost paralyzing volumes. Our second aim is to eliminate the paralysis. We have done our best to make the website as simple and as easy to navigate as possible. We are always looking for feedback, so let us know what you think.
We believe learning at any age can be fun. At a recent meeting, a member of the the team likened our project as a kind of School House Rock, but for Grownups!
