Getting the Word Out

But what is the best way to get people there?

The internet has made organizing quite a bit easier than in the old days.  There are numerous ways for you to reach people and you don’t have to be an internet wiz or a web designer to do it.

Everyone has friends and neighbors that they talk to on a regular basis and we would venture to guess that you have a much larger email list than you might think.

You can start by sending out an email and asking them to help you support  your cause by attending a meeting.  Now you might say, my friends and family aren’t interested in this cause.  You may be right, but you won’t know until you try and you’d be surprised where you greatest support comes from.  Some of the most solid activists started by only “helping out a friend”.
