Community of Us is a non-partisan organization whose primary goal is to educate residents and community organizers throughout Los Angeles about their State, County and City Governments. 
At Community of Us the information you need is just a click away. If you don't know who your elected official is for whatever branch of government you are interested in, you can look it up here. You can even learn some of the basics of what each branch of government does.
Community of Us also offers workshops designed to educate citizens and activists throughout Los Angeles on how they can participate in their government in a simple and comprehensive fashion. You can learn about who your elected leaders are, what they do and how you can help them achieve common goals.
We won't overwhelm you with info, but we will give you what you need to know to become an active particpant in achieving the goals of your community.
